Symptoms
Yellowing and wilting foliage with brown vascular streaking visible when the stem is cut, and one-sided plant decline.
Favorable conditions
- •Soil previously planted with cotton or other susceptible hosts
- •Fungus persisting in soil for many years
Management
- 1Plant resistant varieties
- 2Rotate away from susceptible hosts for several years
- 3Solarize infested soil where practical
