Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This policy describes what information LeafRx ("we," "us") collects when you use leafrx.net, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using LeafRx, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Photos you upload for diagnosis or plant identification, stored in our cloud storage. Account information — an email address if you create an account with email/password, or nothing at all if you use LeafRx anonymously (see below). Usage data — pages visited and diagnosis/scan history, needed to show you your own garden and history and to operate the product.
How we use your information
Uploaded photos are analyzed to generate a diagnosis or species identification. Photos and diagnoses you explicitly request a second opinion on are shown to other LeafRx users in the Community section — nothing is shared publicly unless you take that action. We do not sell your personal data.
Third-party service providers
LeafRx relies on a small number of third-party services to operate:
- Supabase hosts our database, authentication, and photo storage.
- Google Geminianalyzes photos you upload to generate a diagnosis or identification. Photos are sent to Google's API for this purpose only.
- Google AdSensemay serve ads on content pages (see Cookies & advertising below).
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and security practices, in addition to this one.
Cookies & advertising
LeafRx may display ads served by third-party vendors, including Google. These vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the web. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or generally at aboutads.info. We do not control the cookies these third parties set.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account data and scan history for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@leafrx.net. Anonymous (guest) sessions aren't linked to an email address, so we can't identify or delete a specific guest session on request beyond what the browser itself clears.
Children's privacy
LeafRx is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your choices
You can delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting support. Guest (anonymous) sessions are not linked to an email address. You can also opt out of personalized advertising using the links in the Cookies & advertising section above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as LeafRx changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be reflected here directly.
