Favorable conditions
- •Mechanical spread via hands, tools, and tobacco products, since the virus is unusually stable outside the plant
- •Handling infected plants before healthy ones
Management
- 1Use resistant cultivars
- 2Sanitize hands and tools between plants
- 3Avoid tobacco product use around the crop
- 4Rogue out and destroy infected plants
