Mottled light-and-dark-green mosaic patterning, leaf malformation, and stunting.

Favorable conditions

• •Mechanical spread via hands, tools, and tobacco products, since the virus is unusually stable outside the plant
• •Handling infected plants before healthy ones

Management

1. 1Use resistant cultivars
2. 2Sanitize hands and tools between plants
3. 3Avoid tobacco product use around the crop
4. 4Rogue out and destroy infected plants
