Leaf and twig dieback, tear-staining on the fruit rind, and post-harvest fruit rot originating from wounds.
Favorable conditions
- •Tree stress, frost damage, or other injury predisposing tissue to infection
- •Wet weather during fruit development and harvest
Management
- 1Apply copper fungicide sprays
- 2Prune out dead and damaged wood
- 3Avoid wounding fruit at harvest
- 4Handle and store fruit carefully post-harvest
