Epipremnum aureum

Leggy vines with sparse, small leaves usually mean too little light — pothos tolerates low light but grows best with brighter indirect exposure. Yellow leaves that fall off one at a time are often just older leaves naturally shedding; yellowing across many leaves at once points to overwatering.
Cut a 4-6 inch section just below a node and place it in water; roots form within 1-2 weeks. Once roots are a couple of inches long, pot the cutting directly into soil, or leave several cuttings growing in water indefinitely.
Pothos tolerates being slightly root-bound, so repot only every 2 years or when roots are visibly circling the pot — refresh the top inch of soil in between to replenish nutrients.
