Echeveria elegans
Rosette-forming succulent with plump, powdery blue-green leaves. Needs strong light to keep its compact shape.
A stretched, elongated stem with leaves spaced far apart ("etiolation") means the plant isn't getting enough direct light. Mushy, translucent leaves at the base mean overwatering — let the soil dry out completely between waterings.
Twist off a healthy leaf at its base, let the cut end callus for a couple of days, then lay it on top of dry succulent soil; a tiny new rosette will eventually sprout from the base.
Repot every 2 years or when offsets crowd the pot, always in a shallow container with fast-draining succulent mix.
